- 03 Partnering With Families and Communities Parents and families are essential partners in a child's education. Effective education leadership begins with listening, communicating clearly, and building trust with the communities schools serve.
- 04 Responsible Oversight and Transparency The County Board of Education has an important responsibility to provide effective oversight, promote transparency, and ensure public resources are used wisely.
- 05 Protecting Local Control Miki believes local school districts and their elected governing boards are best positioned to understand the unique needs of their students and communities.
