Miki Inbody has dedicated more than three decades to serving students, families, educators, and communities throughout San Bernardino County.

Miki believes the best educational decisions are made when leaders listen to the people they serve.
01 The Classroom Where her career in public education began.
Her career in public education began in the classroom and grew to include service as a school administrator, district leader, county education administrator, and Superintendent of Fontana Unified School District.
02 School Administrator Leading at the campus level.
Throughout her career, she has worked directly with students, teachers, school employees, parents, administrators, community leaders, and locally elected school boards. Her experience has given her a clear understanding of the challenges facing schools and the importance of thoughtful leadership, responsible oversight, and collaboration.

Miki understands public education from the classroom to the district office.
She has built her career around collaboration and open communication with families, educators, students, school employees, and community partners. She understands that every school district and community is different, and that local leaders must have a meaningful voice in decisions affecting their students.
04 County Education Administrator San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.
Before serving as Superintendent of Fontana Unified School District, Miki also worked with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, supporting school districts and educational programs across the county.

Her career has included a strong focus on student achievement, school safety, career and technical education, dual enrollment, fiscal responsibility, and expanding opportunities for students after graduation.

For Miki, public service has never been about politics. It has always been about people.
As a member of the San Bernardino County Board of Education, Miki will bring an approach grounded in listening, transparency, accountability, and respect for local control.
She will bring thoughtful, collaborative leadership to the County Board of Education and make decisions with care, integrity, and courage. Most importantly, she will always keep students, families, and the communities of San Bernardino County at the center of her work.
